ICD BAWAL ↓
Having received Inter Ministerial Clearance for setting up a Container Terminal at Bawal (in Haryana on NH-8 and approximately 100 kms from Delhi), we are poised to commence construction and operations at ICD, Bawal. It will cater to the Cargo inducement areas of Neemrana, Khuskhera and Industrial Growth Centre, Bawal. This area has also been declared as Investment Region by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) which is a sort of Trade Advisory to Japanese Industries.
The facility would be spread over an area of 40-50 acres and would be rail linked to all major and minor ports. The boundary wall construction is already underway. It is expected that on completion of the Civil Survey, laying of rail lines and construction of Warehouse will commence shortly. The group has already been operating Inland Container Depots at Wardha and Loni. It provides an opportunity to the Group to offer better and diverse options to Train Operators and customers as well as creating facilities as per demand of trade.
Cold Chain , Chhindwara
Recently NSS Satpura Agro (a company managed in collaboration by NAFED and APEDA) has entrusted responsibility of Cold Chain business to the Group in Chhindwara region. The facility has 2 refrigeration and 11 collection centres. WWG aspires to run these cold storage facilities to the benefit and prosperity of villagers in the region of Chhindwara.
